cool people don't introduce themselves right away.

Hello. 

I am Serena. You see that name and hear it plenty in the news, but yet majority of the people in my life have gotten it wrong somehow at least once. It is incredible. I am a fashion enthusiast, and I have always loved writing. Recently, my family moved to Canada. I'm a fresh off the boat (hah. geddit? boat?) 

There are so many things that I love about life. One of them is chicken nuggets. Another is sewing. 

I absolutely hate insects that are bigger than ants. And I am still afraid of the dark. My parents never spoiled me as a kid, and so I was taught to live with my fears. The dark is definitely one that I never got over. When I grow older and get married, I will beg my husband for a night light. 

Painting nails is a tedious job for me. 

During my whole lifetime I have been to four places on this earth - Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and Canada. Oh yeah, you definitely don't need a picture to know I'm Asian. 

This weekend is Chinese New Year and I am excited to be receiving money and eating oranges. 

I am also very excited about this blog. This is my newest project and I plan to carry on with it for as long as I can. Be excited with me !
